group BTS (BTS) member Jimin has made a billion-dollar donation for his birthday, as well as relaying goodwill from fans.
Jimin, who celebrated his 27th birthday on March 13, donated more than 100 million won to the Konyaspor Umbrella Children's Foundation and became a new member of the Green Noble Club.
The Green Noble Club is a high-volume donor group of the Konyaspor Umbrella Children's Foundation. It consists of sponsors who donate more than 100 million won at a time or cumulative time, or sponsors who donate 100 million won within five years. Jimin did not want to announce the donation, and the exact amount of the donation was disclosed or there was no announcement of publicity materials, but the foundation announced the new member list of the Green Noble Sam's Club.
This is not the first time Jimin has quietly performed good deeds. Jimin donated uniforms for his alma mater, Busan Elementary School, in 2018, and replaced 1,200 bookshelves for all students of his alma mater, Busan Arts High School, in February last year.
In addition to my alma mater, in 2019, I entrusted 100 million won in educational donations to the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education to support low-income students at 16 schools in the Busan area. In August last year, I delivered 100 million won. In July, we donated 100 million won to Rotary International Volunteer group for all World polio children and have continued to donate for children and adolescents. Jimin has continued to do good without informing him that he is a donor, but this donation has become known late through the certification of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education staff and school staff.
Amy (ARMY), a fandom in Jimin's donation, also moved in with the former World. Jimin’s United States of America fans donated to the World Resources Institute, which studies to solve climate problems, the World Central Kitchen, which shares food to disaster damage, in Jimin’s name, and continued to donate to the field of child abuse prevention, to organizations that support low-income children’s household goods and help sports activities, to Hevitats, and animal protection groups that repair their neighbors’ homes.
Donations also continued to be made to United Nations, where BTS recently visited United States of America as a presidential cultural envoy. Fans donated to the United Nations Worldlic Rate Plan (WFP) under United Nations, which was established to fight the former World hunger, and donations from Southeast Asian fans continued in UNICEF Vietnam.
