Netflix's "squid Game" has released an ensemble poster and a main trailer that gives a glimpse of the extreme Game.
Netflix original series 'squid Game' (director Hwang Dong-hyuk) is a story about people who participated in a questionable survival with a prize money of 45.6 billion won risking their lives to become the last Winners & Losers and challenging the extreme Game.
Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, who introduced 'squid Game' as "a huge allegory that draws a bypass of modern capitalist society," compared the modern society that was driven by extreme competition with the stories of various people who participated in the Game. In particular, he made dramatic contrasts by linking the Game of memories he enjoyed as a child to extreme and competitively transformed capitalism. The fact that the participants who participated in the survival Game are pushed to the edge of the cliff rushing toward a large amount of prize money reminds us of our struggle in capitalist society. The public ensemble poster contains everything that was said earlier. Peaceful fields and warm colors, but in front of the trees, the large Robots stand strangely, and the participants are very scared and wary of the surroundings. The appearance of the participants in the Game lying down in a row of bamboo is shocking compared to the beautiful scenery. The question of what the giant Robots are like in a childhood Fairytale, and what extreme Game are waiting for the participants, is getting bigger.
The main trailer, which was released together, contains a huge scale Game and participants' abbreviations. The number of rings, trio, and squares on the business card is called, and the eyes open in an unfamiliar space. The place of question with an impressive color and visuals is a gathering of 456 participants who are on the brink of life. Before the start, the manager gives the choice to give up the Game, saying, 'If you do not want to participate in the Game, please tell me now.' However, no one gives up in front of a large prize money. The Game scene, which seemed to be full of concentricity, soon turns into a mess full of shock and scream. As long as the Game starts, there is only one way to get out of here, winning the Game. In extreme situations where others, as well as themselves, can not be trusted, participants do not mind threatening each other's lives to survive in order to get a large prize. Who will be the Game's Winners & Losers, the Game of a huge scale that can not be predicted even a stroke ahead? Viewers are paying attention to what kind of ending the participants who struggle to survive in front of the Game that is about to die.
The 'squid Game', which contains extreme tensions against Fairytale visuals, will be released to more than 190 countries around the world on Netflix on the 17th.
