Group BTS member J-Hope announced a subcommittee that concluded his first official schedule as President's special envoy.
J-Hope posted on the official BTS fan community platform Weavers on September 23, writing: "It was a meaningful and good time! Thank you always, Ami!"
In addition, he added two photos: "BYE NY" (hello New York City) and also heralded his return home.
BTS, which J-Hope belongs to, will finish the New York City schedule and board a flight to Korea. BTS, appointed as the Presidential Presidential Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture in July, departed for New York City via the Inchon International Airport on September 18 to accompany President Moon Jae-in's overseas schedule as a special envoy. He will return home via the Incheon International Airport on Monday.
BTS has performed various activities as an envoy in New York City. At the 76th United Nations (UN) General Assembly SEK Event held at the New York City United Nations headquarters, he gave a solo speech on the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals, Sustainable Development Goals), the theme of the United Nations General Assembly SEK Event in Korean.
Since then, BTS has visited the Korea Room of the New York City Metropolitan Museum with Mrs. Kim Jung Sook. They also attended the ceremony for the delivery of Korean crafts at the museum's roof garden, as well as exhibits such as Silla's Gimdong Bangasa Temple, celadon flute in the Goryeo Dynasty, modern Buncheongsagi and moon jars.
Moon has worked on a schedule for a joint interview with United States of America ABC News. The interview was held on behalf of President Moon, who was invited on behalf of member countries around the world, and the participation of the United Nations General Assembly SEK Event of BTS, which was invited as a future generation representative. ABC interviews featuring President Moon and BTS air three times across United States of America. It will air on Good Morning America and Nightline on the 24th and afternoon local time.
BTS met Megan Thee Stallion, who released a remix version of "Butter" (butter) on August 27 during their visit to New York City, and then met the band Coldplay, who created and sang the collaborative single "My Universe" (My Universe), which is scheduled to be released on September 24.
