China group WayV (God V, WayV) conducted a photo shoot and Interview for the May issue of "Elle".
WayV, which debuted in January 2019, is the first mini album 'Take Off', which ranks first in 30 regions around the world on the iTunes top album chart, and is the new group that won the 2019 MAMA 'Best New Asian The Artist' with the record of China's boy idol group 'ITunes top album chart'. To capture the boy-Down charm of seven members of Coon, Ten, Winwin, Lucas Moura, Xiao Jun, Henry, and Yang Yang, the photo shoot took place in a single-family house with a garden.
In the individual Interview that followed the filming, the members showed their passion for music. "Every time a new song comes out, ideas are poured out among the members. “It’s a certain advantage that all seven people are greedy,” Ten said, “and everyone always has an open mind to challenge and accept something new.” Lucas Moura said, "I think that every song has a soul, but it is most important to immerse in it."
He also did not hide his affection for the member. “It’s very positive and has a high tension,” said Yang Yang, the youngest member of the team, adding that “it seems like such vitality is being passed on to fans on stage.” “When you’re away from the members, you feel sorry for your face time,” Hendery said.
I have not forgotten my gratitude for global fandom. Winwin said, "It is a great power to have people who always watch and support us when we are not doing album activities." Meanwhile, Xiao Jun expressed his determination to "have an event for fans because he likes surprise events."
WayV's Interview and pictorials can be found in the May issue of 'Elle' and on the 'Elle' website.
