"Zipuragi" Jung Woo-sung "You should not make movies that viewers will see comfortably."

The movie The Animals Who Want to Hold the Jeep (hereinafter referred to as Zippuragi) is an actor that can meet Jung Woo-sung over another hill.He captures the foolish Tae-Young, who dreams of a hantang, witty and humane.Proud of its unique composition, tight stories and unpredictable development, this film may not be an easy and intuitively understandable film for audiences.Jung Woo-sung emphasized that no movie should be made for the audience to see easily. Jung Woo-sung, a film that produces and challenges production while acting. Its not easy to live as you wish, its like being stabbed in sharp criticism and walking through thorny bushes.Jung Woo-sung is a person who walks his way silently.10. I saw another aspect of the Actor called Jung Woo-sung. Was it a choice of acting transformation? Jung Woo-sung: I was not conscious at all.I had a good scenario and I had a cast of Jeon Do-yeon, who had vaguely thought that I would like to work with Jeon Do-yeon, but I can not make that opportunity.Tuppakki, who is starring Jeon Do-yeon, was one of the big reasons for choosing this work.10. The film is fresh, with its unique composition, its developments that connect to one large stem of twisted branches at once. What aspects of this scenario were you good at?Jung Woo-sung: The stories of the characters were dense and easy to sympathize with, without being utterly uttered. I did not read the original novel deliberately. But I think the director has brought the advantages of the original film into the scenario. There is no consuming character in this film.I have brought a stimulating material called money bag, but I focused more on the conflicts and troubles between the characters who want to take money bag than human desire itself.10. What did you think of the finished movie? Jung Woo-sung: For now, I thought that the movie was completed without shame, leaving the character Tae-Young.I was glad and pleased that people would continue to see this movie over time, and I thought I was too fussy in the first appearance of Tae-Young.Still, it seems to have settled well in the movie.10. The characters are ordinary and realistic characters who want to escape from desperate situations, although they do not hesitate to commit evil to take money bags. What aspect of man did you want to show one of them, Tae-Young?Jung Woo-sung: Tuppakki criminal activity committed by Tae-Young, but it doesnt seem to be a wicked person in itself - of course, its not Tuppakki that crime is justified. What kind of choice do humans make in their respective situations, and when we look at the choice from a distance, can we clearly distinguish and point out that their choice is right and wrong? It is also said that compassion for the Thuppakki characters is also needed. For the most middle-class (Bae Sung-woo), who is making a hard living, the audience may have enough compassion, but the strand of compassion is not seen much for Tae-Young.So what do I do to make Tae-Young feel compassionate, so I tried to sneer at the audience by expressing the Tae-Young loopholes satirically and exaggeratedly.10. Tae-Youngs lover, Jeon Do-yeon, played the role of Yeon-hee, and first breathed the smoke. How was it? Jung Woo-sung: Nice to meet you.We were always colleagues in the same industry and we didnt have much opportunity to see each others performances.I wanted to show you what I was like when I was at the movie scene through this work, and I wanted to see it by Jeon Do-yeon. I also wondered vaguely what Jeon Do-yeon would look like at the scene.I felt that it was because of the affection and responsibility for the Tuppakki movie that could have been located in the name of Jeon Do-yeon for a long time.Jeon Do-yeon sometimes insisted on embodying the character, and led the film responsibly, a valuable experience that allowed him to check each others attitude with good colleagues. When the actors with their long careers and their own worlds are confronted, it is important to draw the sympathy between the characters and the characters, but it is also important to prove that I am an actor in the field. It was a good thing to be able to communicate.10. The front part of the movie seems to be a little bit frustrating and drooping, but the story is full of stories when you go to the back part.In terms of diversity in movies, I think such movies are necessary. Jung Woo-sung: Although Korean films are said to have become commercialized, I think they are still in the process of commercialization. The disadvantages are the damage of diversity, and when youre trying to make a unique film, its hard for a producer or director to stick to his own ideas.Perhaps it is a preconceived notion that the public does not see such a movie to inject a movie that is easy to see, an easy movie, and a strange movie. In this regard, director Kim Yong-hoon of Zipuragi is not such a courageous person. The movie is not production but creation.I think I can give this movie the meaning of reexamine the meaning of creation.10. What should we do to improve the uniform problem? Jung Woo-sung: Industry is capital input, so it should be responsible for it.If you dont have an investor, you can make it, but you have to admit 10 million movies and 5 million movies.I think thats what producers and directors should approach, not by these Thuppakki investors. Its hard to dream of 10 million for both eight billion movies and 20 billion movies.Eight billion films can pursue the goals that fit them, but at some point everyone becomes not good to see more. Then producers and directors gradually give up diversity. There is a strange situation in which every movie has to compete with 10 million movies. You have to choose the right way for each.10. He also produced the movie Dont forget me. Does he have a sense of responsibility to make movies while pursuing diversity as a producer?Jung Woo-sung: I think the more 2 million and 3 million movies come out, the stronger the movie industry is.But you have to think about how (any film) youll make it smarter within a given budget.Even if I start simple, changing the editing to a false greed will undermine my originality. Actors do not tell me to increase the budget because I am in.You can share the tasks you need to do in a given group, and when you have more room, you can also interact with new filmmakers. And you need to make sure that their fresh, shiny ideas stand out, and you dont need to share risk care with capital, but with people who can afford it.10. The previous work, Witness, and this work, and the direction of the image that Jung Woo-sung has as an actor seems to have become more colorful.I think we can expect more diverse things in the future, but do you have such expectations? Jung Woo-sung: Not much expectation. (Laughing) I hated being defined since I was in my 20s.The audience did not seem to be happy to escape from the given image, saying, Why does he make such a choice? But I walked to avoid staying in such a defined thing. The audience who has been interested in the actor Jung Woo-sung for a long time seems to recognize me walking that way now.Tae-Young (Zipuragi) is good, Soonho (Witness) is a life character, Dogyeong (Asura) is a good match and the audience evaluates each other.I have always chosen the next work that breaks it, and I have to continue to try and challenge different from the previous characters.10. How did you feel when you felt the eyes of the changed public? Was it happy? Jung Woo-sung: It was comfortable. It is Actors job to express many human figures. When we express our emotions in various situations, rather than being pale, we see someone with different forms of voice, different accents, and desire to do such a thing.10. Jung Woo-sung is a melodrama. There are many movie fans who want to meet with melodrama.Jung Woo-sung: At one point in the film industry, the melodrama scenario started to disappear. This is a story that is in line with the aspect of this Thuppakki diversity. The movie that takes place in the theater is in line with the social atmosphere. When the atmosphere is comfortable and good, the audience does not want to see the love story of Al-Kon-Dalkong, so the production of the melodrama seems to be decreasing. On the contrary, Tuppakki, the social atmosphere of various genres in theaters, is as comfortable as that. And Melody is a genre that waits for any Actor. It would be nice to meet Jeon Do-yeon and romantic comedy together.10. The news that Netflix and the SF thriller The Sea of Calm are being produced. What else is the plan?Jung Woo-sung: The Sea of Calm will be the production producer, and the movie Protector, which I hold and star in, will be the first film next week.Theres so much work to do that I dont have time to be thrilled. (Laughs)
