The 'Seoul Music Awards', which boasts tradition and authority, was born in 1990 and has been the best music festival in Korea for the past half century. This year, the Seoul Music Awards will bring together musicians who have been loved by fans for a year.
The feature of the Seoul Music Awards is that it reflects the Fan heart (), which was confirmed through mobile Voting. The most intense competition among fans was the popular prize in domestic Voting and the special Korean Wave prize in overseas Voting. The ratio of mobile Voting reflection is 30% for the main prize, the rookie prize, and each category (ballad, R & B hip-hop, OST, and dance performance), while the popular prize is 100% for domestic Voting and 100% for Korean Wave special prize for overseas Voting.
