On the birthday of EXO member and Actor D.O. (Dio), his fans have launched an independent film sponsorship.
"D.O. fans participated in supporting independent films with 'Sharing our sponsorship' on his birthday on January 12," said Indiespace, an independent film theater.

Indiespace is the first private independent film theater in Korea to open in 2007 and has been showing various Korean independent films through exhibitions and screenings, including its release.

It is a sponsoring method that has been steadily continuing to date with the interest and affection of the audience, director, Actor and various movie organizations from the resumption of Indiespace in 2012.
D.O. has proved various acting spectrums by crossing genres such as movie 'Swing Kids', '7th Room', 'Brother', 'Cart', drama 'One Hundred Days', 'It's okay, I'm Love'.
Actor Yoo Ji-tae, Cho Min-soo, Kang Soo-yeon, and EXO leaders and guardians (real name Kim Jun-myeon), Lee Ji-hoon, Kim Min-hee, and Lee Sang-hee also showed their affection for independent film gods by sponsoring Sharing our and holding sponsorship screenings.
"We expect that the voluntary sharing of D.O. fans will also have a positive impact on the entire Korean independent film theater," said Indiespace.
Meanwhile, D.O. joined the army last July and is currently serving in the military.
