Choi Woo-shik 'parasite' Oscar Goya Award for Best Original Song Nominations, Park Seo-joon and Park So-dam are also excited
Actor Choi Woo-shik has been left stunned by the unexpected news. The song he sang in "The Parasite" was nominated for the United States of America Academy Awards Goya Award for Best Original Song.
Choi Woo-shik wrote on his SNS on the 17th, along with a photo of the 92nd Academy Awards Goya Award for Best Original Song preliminary candidate list, "A cup of shochu I called in 'parasite'."
The United States of America Film and Arts Science (AMPAS), which hosts the Academy Awards, announced the 92nd Academy Award preliminary candidate this morning (Korea time), while "parasite" was named the International Long Film Award and the Goya Award for Best Original Song preliminary candidate.
Especially, 'Shochu', the ending song of 'parasite', was written by director Bong Joon-ho and composed by music director Jung Jae-il, Choi Woo-shik called the song directly. Actor Park Seo-joon congratulated him on "Oh, I am going to do it," and Park So-dam, who appeared as a brother and sister in "parasite," also laughed with a comment saying "Giwoo brother live Haeju".
In addition to 'A glass of shochu', a total of 15 films were named in the Goya Award for Best Original Song nominations, including 'Speechless' in 'Aladdin', 'Into The Unknown' in 'Winter Kingdom 2', 'Never Too Late' and 'Spirit' in 'Lion King'.
The 92nd Academy Awards will be held on February 9 next year at the United States of America Hollywood Dolby Theater in California.
