KBO selected "Moon Chae-won (14 years old)" as the verse of Game 3 of the 2019 Shinhan Bank MY CAR KBO Korea Series at Gocheok Sky Dome on October 25.
KBO provided baseball fans with the opportunity to become the main character of the Korean series, and from October 4 to 13, the verse contest event was held to add meaning to the Korean series with the participation of a baseball fan with a special story.
Moon Chae-won, who was selected in this contest, is a middle school student who has congenital cerebral palsy disorder but is dreaming of a baseball player. Moon Chae-won is a Top Model in various sports fields, including catching ball training at the Korea Disabled Baseball Team and acquiring two items in Taekwondo.
Kim Young-in, a college student mentor of Moon Chae-won, applied for a story with the intention of supporting Moon Chae-won's Top Model and giving hope to disabled youths whose dream range is limited. KBO selected Moon Chae-won as a third-round verser to encourage disabled youth to play baseball and give meaningful memories.
On the other hand, the National anthem of the third game of the Korean series is called by singer Monday Kiz. Monday Kiz, who debuted with his first album [Bye Bye] in 2005, has representative songs such as "Stranger", "Autumn Goodbye" and "This Man".
