Korea announced Lee Min-ho as Cole Hamels in the fourth leg of the group stage of the World Baseball Softball Federation 2019 18U Baseball World Championship Championship (18 years old and younger) at 6 p.m. on the 2nd at Hyundai Cha Dreamball Park in Ilgwang-myeon, Busan.
Korea is on the same day as right fielder Lee Ju-hyung (Gyeongnam High School) ~ second baseman Kim Ji-chan (Raon High School) ~ designated hitter Nam Ji-min (Busan Information High School) ~ first baseman Jang Jae-young (Deoksu High School) ~ shortstop Park Min (Yatop High School) ~ baseman Shin Jun-woo (Daegu High School) ~ left fielder Park Joo-hong (left fielder) ~ catcher Kang Hyun-woo (Yoo Shin) ~ Park Si-won (Gwangju First High School) will start as a starter.
Group A is tied with four teams in Korea, Nicaragua, Canada and Australia by two wins and one loss. Korea is a very important bout as the results of Nicaragua match are determined by whether or not the first place in the group is in the group.
