Group BTS also swept the Japan Oricon charts following the United States of America Billboard and the UK Official Chart.
Japan Oricon reported on its official website today (17th) that "BTS' new album 'Map City of London the Sol: Persona' reached number one in the digital album rankings for the first week of sales on Japan".
Oricon said, "This album was the number one chart, and it was the fourth highest in the history of the digital album chart, following the Love Your Self-Resolution Anser, which ranked first on September 17 last year."
Earlier, the United States of America Billboard and the British Official Chart reported that 'Map City of London the Sol: Persona' will be ranked # 1 on the Billboard 200 and the Official Album Chart.
