BTS is the first singer to select 'International Music Industry Association' as the second global artist
Group BTS was the first Korean singer to be ranked in the Global The Artist Top 10 by the International Music Industry Association.
According to Global Artist Chart 2018 released by the International Association of Music Industry (IFPI) on its official website and SNS on the 26th (local time), BTS ranked second on the Global The Artist Chart.
BTS was the first Korean singer to be selected on this chart; it was also the only foreign-language album not English to reach the top 10.
Global Artist Chart is a chart that ranks the International Music Industry Association by adding up the sales of real albums sold every year at World, as well as digital sound source downloads, audio and video streaming figures.
