Wanna One Ha Sung-woon, heralded solo career ..."Concluding to announce Mini album at the end of February"
Wanna One Ha Sung-woon will release a new album at the end of February and perform solo activities.
Ha Sung-woon's agency, StarCruenti, said on July 7, "Ha Sung-woon, who is scheduled to come back to his agency after Wanna One activities, is preparing for solo activities by announcing Mini album at the end of February."
Swing Entertainment, which was in charge of management of Wanna One recently announced that Wanna One's contract was terminated on December 31, and that Wanna One's official activities will be completed at the concert in January.
“We have shared various opinions about our future career path with Ha Sung-woon, but it is true that we have not made a specific decision because the Wanna One activity has not been completed,” said an agency official. “We met with Ha Sung-woon on the 4th and discussed many opinions. “I ask for your expectation and support,” he said.
According to his agency, Ha Sung-woon's solo album, which is scheduled to be released at the end of February, will be devoted to the album by choosing songs by participating in producers. As Ha Sung-woon participates as a producer, it is expected to be an album that can fully utilize his musicality as a vocalist in Wanna One.
Meanwhile, Wanna One will hold its last concert as a group at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul starting on the 24th.
