The Vietnam version of Running Man', the most popular SBS entertainment in Asia, will start shooting locally from the end of January. The programming Time will air every Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. (local Time) from April 6 through HTV7, the Major TV Channel TV channel with the highest ratings on Vietnam.
The cast includes the popular actor Thanh, the husband of Vietnam entertainment top star and Korean Singer Hariwon, actor and Singer Ngo Kien Huy, actor Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc, female, actor and Singer Jun Palm Pham, Nam), comedian Viv Thun (BB Tran, Nam), actor and Singer TSinger Tsong Te Vin (Truong The Vinh, Nam), and actor Lien Bin Pod (Lien Binh Phat, Nam) were cast in the super-luxury celebrity corps. They are recognized as the most popular entertainers in each field, and their casting news is a big topic.
SBS, who had been welcomed by Vietnam as a sole Korean Major TV Channel broadcast by organizing the last AFF Suzuki Cup final in the main Time, officially requested to appear as a special guest for director Park Hang-seo, who became a "national hero" in the history of Vietnam soccer, which is likely to be concluded after the Asian Cup.
Taking advantage of the production experience of the China version Running Man, which already has the highest audience rating, the Vietnam version Running Man also aims to produce locally customized high-quality programs by collaborating with the original production staff of Korea Running Man and the Vietnam staff in a way that makes each other's advantages.
SBS's minimum-type PD, who directed the production, said, "Vietnam viewers really like the Korean entertainment program. “I will make a “Running Man” that is attractive to meet the expectations and take their hearts in.” The minimum-type PD is a veteran PD who participated in the Korean Running Man' as well as the Chinese version Running Man' co-production.
Yoon Sang-seop, CEO of Lime entertainment, a co-production company of Vietnam, said, "I succeeded in the childcare entertainment program Oh! My Baby before SBS and built localization know-how. “I will do my best with the Korean production team to make Running Man a success,” he said.
The production of Running Man will be sponsored by leading Korean companies that have entered Vietnam. Officials are expecting that it will be a success story that introduces products and brands of companies naturally through localized Korean Wave content.
