BTS' documentary film "Bun the Stage: The Movie" set the record for the best box office record of all-time Idol documentary on its first day of release.
According to the integrated network of the movie promotion committee on the 16th, 'Bun the Stage: The Movie' debuted at the box office with 77,263 people nationwide on the first day of opening. This is the highest record of the previous Idol documentary. The previous record of Music documentary was Park Hyo-shin's documentary "Beautiful Tomorrow" (63,000 people). The second place was "Big Bang Made" (56,000 people), which featured Big Bang's overseas tour; "Bun the Stage" was well over the cumulative number of audiences in the two films ahead of its release date.
"Bun the Stage" was released exclusively on CGV; the number of screens on release dates was 244, and the number of screenings was 701.
"Bun the Stage: The Movie" is the official screen debut of BTS, featuring "2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode 3 Wings Tour (207 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR).
