The most unrealistic news of the BTS is the Time magazine cover case. BTS has become a cover model for United States of America magazine Time.
In the meantime, our media seems to have never imagined the Korean people climbing the time cover. The media has reported that Roh Moo-hyun, Park Geun-hye, and President Moon Jae-in were published in the cover of Time magazine. This time, BTS was featured in the same time, the Time Global edition cover, published in the United States of America, not in the Asia edition.
Since we could not imagine Korean people climbing the cover of the global version of Time, our media has been calling it Time magazine cover without distinguishing the Time magazine Asia edition. When BTS comes to the global cover, it divides the Asia version and classifies the Korean people who have been on the time cover. Some media reports that former President Roh Tae-woo, former President Kim Young-sam and former President Kim Dae-jung have been on the cover of the Time Global Edition, another reporting that it was the Asia version. It seems that confusion continues because it did not distinguish exactly from the beginning.
In addition to the presidents, the Time magazine cover, which was introduced to us from time to time, was all Asian. The Asian version has been reported by our media, not separate from the Time Global version, and now, when BTS is on the cover of the Global version, it is necessary to distinguish it.
According to the media, it seems true that former Presidents Rhee Seung-man, Park Chung-hee and Chun Doo-hwan were included in the cover of the global edition of Time. They received World attention as the protagonists of major events such as war and coup; BTS, regardless of such events, was only on the cover of Time magazine with its popularity as a Singer. It is an unrealistic event that was simply unlikely.
Another unrealistic event took place at the American Airlines Music Awards. BTS was awarded the prize (Paverit Social Artist Award) here for the second time as a Korean after Psy. This is a big case, and even more surprising is that BTS did not attend the awards ceremony, and even if it was called as a candidate at this awards ceremony, it would go beyond everything. Even if you schedule, you will avoid the awards ceremony and arrange the date. Only the World superstar will schedule regardless of the awards ceremony, and will not attend the awards. It was really hard to imagine that Koreans were absent from the American Airlines Music Awards.
Another unrealistic thing came from England: the British Nederlandse Publieke Omroep BBC described BTS as "21st Century Beatles". If Korea idol was compared to Beatles in Korea, it would have been a joke. But United States of America media began to talk about BTS and Beatles together. It was absurd from here, even in the UK, home to Beatles, the UK Nederlandse Publiek Omroep BBC professed that BTS was a modern Beatles. This is a case where the words 'Is this a true story?'
It is a series of unrealistic accomplishments. No one (at least not one of the common sense) could imagine that Korean idols would come this far. What is more surprising is that this is not the end: after successful World tours, BTS' international status will jump further. The U.N. speech and the cover of Time magazine are making the public aware of the situation. I cannot figure out how much more unrealistic things will come and bring people to the table.
