Group BTS lost its top spot on the United States of America Billboards main chart 'Billboards 100' in a week. However, it still remained popular with the top of the chart.
According to a recent chart preview released by Billboards on its website on Thursday, BTS's regular 3rd album "Love Yourself" was ranked 6th in "Billboards 200", down five places from the previous week.
The first place was the third album of Canadian pop star Sean Sam Mendes, Sean Sam Mendes'. Sam Mendes is a popular singer for young people around the world. He also topped the chart with his first full-length album "Handwritten" in 2015 and his second full-length album "Iluminate" in 2016.
Sam Mendes also has a connection with BTS. It mainly interacts through social networking services (SNS) accounts, and received attention by listening to the intention to collaborate with BTS during a red carpet interview of the 2018 Billboards Music Awards at the United States of America's MGM Grand Garden Arena on the 20th of last month.
BTS has also been named the 10th on the main single chart 'Hot 100' with 'Fake Love', the title song of 'Love Earsenf'.
The attention of music fans around the world is focused on how many places "Fake Love" will take place in the latest chart preview of "Hot 100" scheduled to be released early on the 6th (Korea time). BTS, which ranked 67th in the top ranking with "DNA," had climbed to 28th place with a "Mike Drop" remix released last December.
The simultaneous entry of Korean singers 'Billboards 200' and 'Hot 100' was first written by BTS in September last year. At that time, BTS was ranked 7th in the Billboards 200 with its mini album 'Love Yourself' and 85th in the 'Hot 100' with its title song 'Dianei'.
Again, it entered the same album at the same time, and even the new records to be written by BTS were expected because both charts entered the K-pop top ranking.
Meanwhile, BTS will hold a 'Festa' event to celebrate the fifth anniversary of DeV. BTS has held this event, which will be held sequentially from the beginning of June, ahead of June 13, the day of the year, in which members participated directly. The first content was released on the 4th as a band version of the title song "Spring Day" of "Wings Abduction: You Never Work Alon" released last February.
