As much as I received a lot of love, I also got a lot of hate. Actor Son Ye-jin, who has been worried about Yon Jin-ah more than anyone else in the world, talked about his several 'surprising Choices'.
JTBC gilt drama 'Bob's pretty sister' was a work that experienced dramatic reaction changes of viewers as much as the two main characters' shaking emotions. Especially the Yoon Jin-ah character, which Son Ye-jin has Acted, did. At the beginning of the love affair, Yoon Jin-ah was a lovely person who made the viewer smile, but when the crisis came to love, the immature aspect was highlighted and the audience was criticized. Son Ye-jin found the reason in 'different'
"When a character named Jin-ah faces an event and does Choices, he makes repetitive mistakes; usually the characters in the drama grow rapidly and mature as sick as they go through it. And that’s what viewers want, but it’s not really the case, and maybe because it’s unreal, we want to see it in the media. Jina was special because she went a different way than usual. It was a work that started from the beginning to the end, and I talked a lot with the director about the part that I did not understand. Jina was attracted to the fact that she was not a character that viewers wanted, and that was a different person. I think there was a embarrassing and unseemly aspect, because there were not many characters like Jin-ah as female characters in Korean dramas, but I liked that."
Son Ye-jin continued to talk about some of the scenes some viewers thought most curiously. The best explanation for why Yon Jin-ah made such Choices in each scene was the actor Son Ye-jin.
"The part where Yoon Jin-ah says 'I grew up' when he rejects the proposal for the United States of America by Seo Jun-hee (Jung Hae-in) is not really that way because the character has grown. Yoon Jin-ah probably felt like a chimney to follow in that situation. But you can not go to United States of America without family, work, or friends being settled. I also looked at the script at first and said, 'Why don't you follow United States of America? 'I asked, but when I was Acting Jin-ah myself, it was not because of the small size of love, but because of the situation. Not because their love is not solid, but because Yoon Jin-ah is not all in to Seo Jun-hee, and Yoon Jin-ah was not such a person. It was also the heart of Jin-ah who could not leave Seo Kyung-sun."
He also explained the ending of the Me too workshop in the company that was treated only as an ambassador. After suffering the unreasonable situation of relegation after the Me too revelation, Yon Jin-ah eventually submitted his resignation with a victory in the workshop three years later.
"In fact, when I look at the Me too case, I have a long court battle, and most of the time, the victims are sitting down. But Jina had been fighting it for three years when there was no one around. She left the company after the fight. For three years, Yon Jin-ah would have lived as a shell to solve the case. I think that (with resignation) going down to Jeju would have been done after all, and then gone down because it needed a new time, because it would have been a loss for three years. It is not going down forever, but after a while, it will return to Jina, which is much harder. "
She also spoke about her new boyfriend, who was born to Yoon Jin-ah, during the three years since her separation from Seo Jun-hee. This was also the scene where Yoon Jin-ah received the biggest 'hate' from viewers.
"The part where the new boyfriend came is bound to be ruined by viewers (laughs) and maybe that three years was not the time for Yoon Jin-ah to love someone. Who can you love after a love that is too big? I think I met someone with a pattern. There is a time when a person lives after a hard time, and I think that Jina lost the meaning of everything. So I met a new man as everyone did, and it was just a shell, so Jina was not happy. "
