United States of America writer Mina Harris tweeted on Thursday (local time): 'Oh Young-soo tore (stage) (O Young-su cutting it UP)' with the post, posting a 40-second video.
The video showed Oh Young-soo in a suit surrounded by people at the after-party after the Emmy Awards ended, showing a robotic dance that breaks the joints. Cheers poured in around this look and Oh Young-soo responded with both hands flashing as the dance ended.
"Squid Game" official account shared the video and explained, "This is how we play."
Oh Young-soo told JTBC, "I do not have to say dance with people," he said. "I just shook a little, but how did it get to be said?"
The United States of America TV Arts and Science Academy awarded director Hwang Dong-hyuk of the squid game at the 74th Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on December 12. It is the first time a non-English-speaking drama has won a director award at the Emmy Awards; Lee Jung-jae also won the Emmy Awards best Actor award for the first time as an Asian Actor.
Oh Young-soo, Park Hae Soo, and Jeong Ho-yeon, who were nominated for Best Supporting Actor, were unfortunately rejected.
Squid Game has written the history of non-English dramas, winning six Awards including the Guest Award (Yumi), Visual Effect Award, Stunt Performance Award, and Production Design Award, which won the Creative Arts Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy S Emmy Awards held on the 4th.
