"Mr. Kai is preparing for the Solo album, and I will let you know as soon as the schedule is set," an agency SM Entertainment official told CBS on Thursday.
Earlier, News 1 reported that EXO Kai is preparing for the Solo album in eight years after debut and will release it in the second half of the year.
Kai debuted in 2012 with her EXO K single "What Is Love."
