Actor Song Joong-ki has demolished his newlywed home where he lived with his ex-wife Song Hye-kyo.
On May 5, Hong Kong media South China Morning Post reported, "The home of Yongsan-gu, Seoul, which was known as the honeymoon home of Actor Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo, was demolished for Reconstruction."
"Song Joong-ki bought the property for about 10 billion won before marriage. Therefore, the owner of the real estate is Song Joong-ki, "he said." Demolition permission was early, but Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo did not confirm the asset split conditions. Demolition began in earnest last month. "
According to the building permit, Song Joong-ki builds a single-family house with three basement floors and two floors above ground on the site. The land area is 602m2 (about 200 pyeong) and the total area of the new building is 998m2 (330 pyeong); the construction is scheduled to be completed in June 2021.
Song Joong-ki's agency, Hai Story D & C, said on June 6, "I can not explain it in detail because it is related to private life."
Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo became real lovers after appearing together in the KBS2 drama 'Dawn of the Sun' broadcast in 2016. He later married in 2017, but divorced after a year and nine months because of his personality differences.
Song Joong-ki recently stopped filming Colombia for the film "Bogota" and returned home; he has been self-pricing for two weeks as he returned from abroad. Song Hye-kyo is reviewing his next film after TVN drama 'Boyfriend'.
