After the divorce of Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo, attention is focused on domestic and overseas.
"The Honeymoon home in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, where Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo lived together when they married, has been demolitated since the end of February," the Hong Kong media South China Morning Post reported on May 5.
The home was purchased by Song Joong-ki for 10 billion won on November 15, 2016; it was later used as Honeymoon home after the wedding announcement in July 2017.
Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo were divided through mediation on July 22, last year, nine months after their marriage. Honeymoon home, which was already known to have been empty before the divorce, has been rebuilt since February; its owner is still Song Joong-ki.
The residence will be built with three basement floors and two floors above ground. The land area is known as 602m2 (about 200 pyeong), and the total floor area of the newly built building is 998m2 (330 pyeong); the construction is scheduled to be completed in June 2021.
Song Joong-ki's agency, High Story D & C, said, "It is difficult to confirm it because it is a private life."
Song Joong-ki, meanwhile, returned home on 24th of last month after stopping filming the movie "Bogota", which was underway in Colombia in the aftermath of Corona's 19 confirmation; he is currently in isolation at home.
