Choi Siwon (Super Junior Shiwon) was cast in the SF8 project Kenneth Tsang Kong Pod.
SF8, starring Choi Siwon, is a crossover project between film produced by Sufilm and Drama, which is jointly worked by mbc, the Korean Film Directors' Association (DGK), and wave, and deals with the story of future humans dreaming of a complete society through technological development.
Choi Siwon plays Choi Min-joon, the main character who enjoys a virtual reality (VR) date in the Kenneth Tsang Kong Pod in the SF8 series, and is expected to give excitement to viewers as he struggles to make true love in the virtual and real world.
Choi Siwon has been recognized for winning the Drama Male Excellence Award in 2019 KBS Acting Grand Prize for his authentic performance on KBS2 Drama 'People!' which was broadcast last year, so the romance performance to be shown in Kenneth Tsang Pods has already gained much attention.
Meanwhile, SF8, which is gathering attention with the Korean version of the Korean version of the "Antology" series made by eight film directors, will be premiered as a director in wave in July, followed by two OLizynal versions on mbc in August for four weeks.
