Top Idol group EXO comeback album 'OBSESSION' is expected to enter the Billboards 200 chart.
"EXO will succeed in the fourth Billboards 200 chart-in of its career as an "optimal," Billboards reported on Wednesday (local time). According to this, "Option" will enter the Billboards 200 chart on December 21, 2019.
"This album is in its second week of release and is expected to be ranked 198th on this chart," said Billboards. "We have got 4,000 album sales points by December 5th."
"'Obsession' will also be second in the Billboards World Albums chart, rising from the previous week's third to first place, and in the Billboards World Digital Song Sales chart, it will jump from the previous week's third to the top," Billboards added.
According to Billboards, EXO has become the second most popular K-pop artist through this entry. The top spot is the 10th chart of BTS, and G-Dragon will be followed by EXO three times.
'Option' is the 6th album of EXO released on November 27th. It consists of 10 Tracks including Korean and Chinese version Tracks of the same title song 'Option'. It is a concept that contains various feelings such as conflict and obsession derived from the confrontation between EXO and X-EXO.
'Option' is a hip-hop dance song that can meet EXO's dark charisma. The addictiveness of vocal samples repeated like magic, heavy beats, and straight monologue styles stand out, and the Music Video, which is opened simultaneously with soundtrack, was also produced with a fascinating image of EXO transformed into two concepts that are opposite to the intense atmosphere of the song.
