Kim Dong-hee, who has been attracting attention as a "new generation" by promoting his face through Drama 'SKY Castle' and web Drama 'Aitin', joined the role of 'Itaewon Clath' Jang Geun-soo, which will be broadcasted for the first time in the second half of this year.
'Itaewon Clath' based on the next Web toon is a work that depicts the 'hip' rebellion of youths who are united in an unreasonable world, stubbornness and passenger. Drama, a founding myth of young people who pursue freedom with their own values on the small street of Itaewon, which seems to have compressed the world.
In the play, Kim Dong-hee played the role of Jang Geun-soo, the second son of Yoo Jae-myung (Chang Dae-hee), who grew up being abused by his older brother Jang Geun-won, but his parents watched it. Kim Dong-hee, who became independent at the age of 17, learns of 'real adults' through Park Seo-joon (Park Sae-roi), but is a person who is in the opposite position of Park Seo-joon while unrequitedly loving Kim Dae-mi (Joy Seo). In this work, Kim Dong-hee tries to transform another acting with an impact-strong figure, with characters depicting various aspects such as power struggle, unrequited love, and jealousy in the house.

This work was co-ordinated by director Kim Sung-yoon, who was recognized for his sensual performance through 'Gurmigreen Moonlight' and 'Discovery of Love', and Cho Kwang-jin, who gave a delightful fun and deep sympathy with Web toon 'Itaewon Clath'.
Meanwhile, Kim Dong-hee, who was cast as the main character of Netflix original Drama 'Human Class' scheduled to air next year, is continuing his trend by confirming his appearance in 'Itaewon Clath' following 'Human Class'.
