The 14th criminal justice (judge Kwon Young-hye) of the Seoul Southern District Court held a trial on Kim's sentencing on the 10th. Kim is accused of violating the Special Act on Intrusion into the room and the punishment of sexual violence crimes (photographing using cameras, etc.)
The court ruled that the defendant (Kim) was sentenced to one year and six months in prison and sentenced to three years of probation. In addition, he ordered 40 hours of sexual violence treatment classes and 120 hours of community service.
"The accommodation is a place where personal privacy should be respected. Nevertheless, I tried to install a camera and shoot it," the court said. "The mental damage of the certified Victims would have been considerable."
"It happened in a special environment called overseas filming sites. They committed crimes by forsaken the trust of Victims. They are not good means and methods.
However, he said, "Mr. Kim is acknowledging and reflecting on the crime." He said, "I decided to take into consideration that no additional damage occurred, such as the distribution of the photographs."
In September last year, Kim participated in the camera equipment department in overseas shooting of Olive channel 'Pocha without Borders'. A sub battery-shaped molar was installed in the accommodations of Shin Se-kyung and Yoon Bomi.
At the time, Shin Se-kyung found the camera himself and informed officials; the crew immediately obtained all the equipment and then reported Kim to the police. There was reportedly no video that could be a problem.
