BTS has distributed 10,000 fine dust masks at the 5th outdoor Event of the official fan club ARMY.
BTS' agency Big Hit Entertainment paid one fine dust mask to 10,000 fans who attended Run ARMY in Action, a fan Event of BTS held at Seoul Plaza in front of Seoul City Hall at 3 p.m. on the 10th. Ryuria, who lives in Suwon, received a mask and said, "I am grateful for the careful consideration of the host. “I am satisfied that I am taking care of my fans, not only masks but also giving raincoats on rainy days,” he said.
“While fine dust and ultrafine dust are normal, we have prepared a mask that blocks fine dust and dust as the square is made up of sandy fields and an outdoor Event,” an agency official said.
Run Ami in Action is part of a fan Event called ARMYPEDIA, which started on the 22nd of last month. Amipedia is a compound word of ARMY, the official fan club name of BTS, and Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia, which means a digital archive of BTS made with fans. BTS is a way for fans to find and take photos and quizze 2080 QR codes distributed to seven cities around the world, including Seoul, LA, New York, Paris, London, Tokyo and Hong Kong. 2080 is the combined number from June 13, 2013, the debut date of BTS, to February 21, 2019, the start date of Amipedia.
BTS will hold ARMY UNITED in Seoul (Ami United in Seoul), the second offline Event of Amipidia, at the cultural stockpile base in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 23rd.
