The group BTS ranked first for the third time on the US Billboard.
Billboard announced on the 21st (local time) that BTS' new album Map of the Sol: Persona was the third topped the main album chart Billboard 200.
On the 15th, Billboard announced the first place by reporting the announcement of the latest chart one or two days before the announcement of the BTS album sales volume is overwhelming.
According to Nielsen Music, 230,000 albums were sold by the 19th. Among them, the number of traditional album sales was 196,000, the number of digital sound source downloads was converted into album sales, 8,000 by Track equivalent albums and TEA, and 26,000 by Streaming equivalent albums and SEA. Billboard considers it to have bought one traditional album if it downloads 10 songs or streams 1,500 songs.
Billboard also said it took less than 11 months for BTS to put three albums on the top of the Billboard 200.
They topped the Billboard 200 with their third regular album Love Yourself Former Tear (LOVE YOURSELF Tear) in May last year and their repackaged album Love Your Self-Earth Anthur (LOVE YOURSELF ANSWER) last September.
The latest chart, which reflects BTS records, will be newly posted on Sunday.
