Group BTS topped the United States of America Billboard and UK Official Charts.
According to a preliminary article posted on the Billboard's homepage, BTS' new album "Map of the Sol: Persona" released on the 12th was ranked # 1 on the Billboard album chart "Billboard 200".
This is the third time that BTS has reached the top of the Billboard 200 chart, following the regular 3rd album "Love Yourself Former Tier" released in May last year and the repackaged album "Love Your Self Resolution Anser" released last September.
The British official charts also predicted that BTS will be the first album in Korea with this album.
Official charts said the album's sales have already exceeded the combined total of the first week's sales of the last three albums, including Love Yourself: The former Tier, which entered the top 10 last year.
