group BTS' new book, 'Map City of London the Sol: Persona (MAP OF THE SOUL: Persona),' has sold more than 2 million copies in five days.
According to Hanter charts on the 16th, BTS' new mini album "Map City of London the Sol: Persona" (hereinafter referred to as "Persona") exceeded 2 million album sales as of 3:20 p.m. on the day.
This is the highest K-pop record, surpassing the initial sales volume of 1,3527 copies recorded by "Love Yourself" (LOVE YOURSELF "Tear") released last year.
The sales of "Persona" albums have been strong since the beginning. BTS has surpassed their record of the first K-pop sales volume.
'Persona' sold 249,511 copies at 6 o'clock in less than an hour since the World was released simultaneously before 6 pm on December 12. Since then, it has sold 138,424 copies at around 9 p.m., surpassing BTS's own initial record of 1 million 3527 copies (the "Tier" album before Love Yourself) in just three hours.
They sold 1,479,930 records during the first day of Haru on the 12th, and sold 272,484 copies on the 13th day of the second day of release and 56,284 copies on the 14th day of the third day.
The ripple force of the BTS shook the former World. They reached the top of the Billboards main chart "Billboards 200" and the British Official Albums charts for United States of America, the home of pop.
BTS will stage with pop star Halsey at the 2019 Billboards Music Awards in United States of America Las Vegas on May 1 (local time). They are nominated for the Top Duo/group and Top Social Artist category.
