BTS made the announcement at the red carpet site of the 6th Cultural Awards held at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Sejong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 26th.
“I am new to see, and I am glad to be awarded this time,” he said. “I came to the prize at that time, but I am happy to be awarded this time.”
“It’s my first time winning an award at a huge awards ceremony, so what kind of spectacles will unfold and what kind of heart to receive will be a fresh award ceremony,” RM said.
“I will be on a stadium tour in May, and I will meet fans around many countries and cities. I ask for your attention,” Jin said.
Meanwhile, the Cultural Grand Prize, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and sponsored by Woori Bank and the foundation, Sunhyun and KFC, was an award ceremony launched in 2014 to cover performances that gave impression and comfort to laughter and tears during the year. The award ceremony will select the best works in six categories, including theater, classical music, dance, Korean traditional music and musicals and concerts.
