Producer Fiddock (real name Kang Hyo-won), who produced music for the group BTS, was selected as the most popular music lyricist and composer last year for the highest music royalties.
The Korea Music Copyright Association announced on the 16th that it will win the prize in the two fields of popular music writing and composition at the 5th KOMCA Copyright Awards ceremony held at the 56th regular general meeting held on the 19th.
The copyright award is awarded to the composers and composers who received the highest copyright fee during the year. Piddock, a leading producer of BTS' agency Big Hit Entertainment, participated in the album "Love Your Self Former Tier" and "Love Your Self Resolution Anthur" released by BTS last May and August, respectively.
The two albums became popular worldwide, including the Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200'. In particular, the title songs 'Fake Love' and 'Idol' of each album were ranked 10th and 11th respectively on the Billboard single chart 'Hot 100'. Fiddock participated in the album with Bang Si-hyuk, the representative producer of Big Hit Entertainment, and BTS leader RM.
The field of arrangement for the copyright was returned to Vanilla Man (real name Jung Jae-won), who arranged music such as "Red Adolescent." Vanilla Man won the same award the previous year.
