BTS opened the "Love Yourself (LOVE YOURSELF)" Japan Dome tour at Japan Tokyo Dome at 6 p.m. on the 13th.
Earlier, BTS hit measles at the center of the 'Korean wave beating' of the Japan Extreme right force triggered by the ruling of the victim's compensation claim. Japan media have been raising the abrupt image of the so-called "Living Day T-shirt" worn by member Ji Min, and Japan broadcasters have also taken advantage of it and canceled BTS' broadcasts.
Among them, BTS started a Japan dome tour in Tokyo. As the relationship between the two countries has been rapidly cooling down so that protests against Tokyo have occurred, there have been few concerns about whether BTS will be caught in a fire.
However, BTS proved its strong popularity, which is not even a matter of 'Korean wave shaking'. Numerous fans visited the venue from the day before the performance began, and the popular Goods sold out early; 50,000 fans who filled the Tokyo Dome supported the BTS with enthusiastic cheers.
BTS flew on the Japan charts as well as the performances. According to the Japan Oricon Weekly Singles Chart (5–11), released on the 13th, BTS' ninth single, "Fake Love/Airplane Part.2" (FAKE LOVE/Airplane pt.2), reached the top of the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart with 450,000 points in the first week of the single's release.
BTS will continue its Japan dome tour at Kyocera Dome Osaka, Nagoya Dome, Fukuoka Yahooku! Dome until February next year.
