Group BTS receives the youngest Medical of Culture ever
According to Blue House on the 8th, State Council decided to award the BTS a medal.
"We decided to award the Medal of Culture to BTS (7 people) for the development of popular culture and arts such as the spread of Korean Wave," said Kim Eui-gyeom, a spokesman for Blue House. "Many young people from abroad are calling Korean lyrics as a group, contributing not only to the spread of Korean Wave but also to the spread of Hangul."
The Medal of Culture is a medal awarded to a person who has contributed to the State Peace and Development Council by establishing a contribution to the development of culture and arts. As a result, BTS became the first idol and the youngest ever Medal of Culture recipient.
Meanwhile, BTS held its first solo performance in Korea Singer at City Field Stadium in New York City on June 6. He is also writing the K-pop 'first' history, including United Nations speech and Billboard charts.
