According to the 2018 MGA competition category candidate lineup released on the Genie Music website on the 1st, BTS has four categories (Singer of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Selling The Artist of the Year, Digital Album of the Year), Wanna One (Singer of the Year, Song of the Year, Digital Album of the Year) and TWICE ('Digital Album of the Year') Singer of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Selling The Artist of the Year) are also nominated for three categories each.
Meanwhile, the 2018 MGA, a K-POP award co-hosted by MBC Plus (MBC PLUS) and Genie Music, is the first ever to be held at a collaboration awards ceremony for broadcasters and music platform companies, and the list of candidates for each category can be found on the Genie Music website. The online Voting will be held until the 31st of this month. It will be held on November 6th at the Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon.
