The group BTS once again topped the Billboardss 200, the main record chart of Billboardss, with its new album LOVE yourself Answer.
According to Billboardss on the 2nd (local time), BTS' Love yourself Resolution Anthur won the top spot on the Billboardss 200, which will be announced on the 5th. It is a remarkable achievement that has been achieved in more than three months since it topped the list with its last album LOVE yourself Tear.
The Billboardss 200 is a traditional record sales volume often referred to as CD sales, and is ranked by streaming and download scores converted into record sales. According to Nielsen Music, Love yourself Gym Ancer sold a total of 185,000 copies over a week, of which 141,000 came from traditional record sales.
Both overall sales and traditional record sales are the third highest in the US this year. BTS (based on the first week of release) also surpassed the first week of the release of Love yourself former Tier (135,000 copies in total and 100,000 copies in traditional record sales).
Billboardss said, "This is the first time since 2014 that I have been ranked # 1 on the Billboardss 200 with two albums in a year in the pop genre." BTS was the Love yourself former Tier released in May, and it ranked first on the Billboardss in 12 years as a non-English record.
The Billboardss 200's overall ranking will be released on the 5th.
